I was a big fan of Carville’s when he was with Clinton, but sitting down with Smith is an insult to all black people with a brain and an interest in moving our agenda forward. He has totally lost touch and forgot Black women are the backbone of the democratic party and when Smith insulted Jasmine he lost at least 90% of us. I’m done !!!
He often says Republicans brand things while Democrats explain them. Two examples I’ve wondered about:
1. Why didn’t Democrats rename the “Great Big Beautiful Bill” the “Great Big Billionaire Bill”? People would have forgotten the original name if Democrats did that.
2. Why not frame Trump as the candidate of “Chaos and Betrayal,” since everything he does falls into one of those categories?
Is there a strategic reason Democrats avoid those kinds of simple narrative frames?

I’m with you. His opinion of black women in general is a problem for me.
Quick question for James.
