The Trump administration is about revenge retribution. It’s also about unprecedented greed and large-scale grifting. Starting with the president, a purpose of government service is simply to pad your own pockets. Thanks to our friend, Judd Legum, whose popular information should be must reading for anyone following the Trump money shakedowns.
We know more about son-in-law Jared Kushner’s double life. He’s back in advising on the Middle East issues while cashing in with Middle East money. The latest, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund is acquiring EA, the publisher of popular video games like Madden NFL, for $55 billion. Saudi Arabia has two partners, two U.S. partners, Silver Lake a big experienced US private equity firm, and Affinity Partners, a not very big or experienced firm, but one with a big asset, Jared Kushner. As Legum points out, Kushner’s value is not just that he’s pals with Saudi strongman MBS, but the deal has to go through the US Committee on Foreign Investments. The Foreign Investment Committee is composed of Trump appointees.
You think there’s any chance that they’re going to deny Mr. Kushner this deal? This is the motto of this administration. The patron saint is Gordon Gekko. Greed is good. And who gives a damn about corruption?
Of, course, I do, give a darn! Bribery! You name it. You got the serial cheater, the job! Release The Epstein files!
Very professional Hegs.death - speaking with hand in pocket. Possibly holding bribery checks?
