You know, I watched 60 minutes last night, the interview with Donald Trump. Here’s one way he could have made news. Tell the truth. He really avoided that one. He repeatedly called New York mayorality candidate, Zorhan Mandami, a communist. No, he’s a socialist. He believes in democracy, which communists don’t. I suspect Trump neither knows nor cares about the difference.
He said the Insurrection Act has been routinely used by presidents. Actually, it’s been invoked only 10 times since the end of World War II, chiefly when Southern officials were blocking Black students from entering schools, or it was requested by a governor. He said Russia and China are engaging in nuclear testing or not. His opinions, as usual, were ahistorical and warped. He declared the Supreme Court decision on his tariffs will be the most important in 100 years.
Really, more important than Brown v. Board declaring school desegregation unconstitutional or Obergefell legalizing same-sex marriage or one I hope this Republican court will read, the U.S. versus Nixon declaring the president is not above the law and that executive privilege is not absolute.
What will be most revealing in the tariffs case is how the Supreme Court squares with what has been its allegiance to Trump and its allegiance to big business, many of which opposes these tariffs. But perhaps the most revealing thing of all would be one day, for an entire day, when Trump tells the truth.

Tempertantrump overturned the “ president does not have absolute power” by SCOTUS granting him immunity. While he has pardon power.
Trump doesn't know the difference between the truth and a lie! All he does is lie! He thinks his lies are the God's honest truth! Someone needs to tell him the difference! I am so sick and tired of his stupid, friggin' lies! He said he ended 8 wars! Really? What wars did he end? He is so full of bull!
