In an all too familiar sad scene, another major newspaper, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, folded this week. This was the most important newspaper in Western Pennsylvania. And for 16 years, under the leadership of David Shribman, produced great journalism, including the widely praised and much heralded coverage of the slaughter at the Tree of Life synagogue.
The Post Gazette faced the same problematic business models, plummeting ad sales, competition from Google, ⁓ as many newspapers. The owner, John Block, tried to blame the demise on the unions. But the bigger problem was Block, a blatantly incompetent and irresponsible owner.
Once he came in the newsroom to berate reporters when he was stone drunk. He was devoid of any vision. He tried to turn the paper into a Trump loving organ, which was obviously unsuccessful. The losers here are the citizens of Pittsburgh and the real villain, John Block.

Brown shirts today are also corporate criminals who have been above the law for decades who need to be brought to justice. They censor everything they control the narrative.
I hope this tyranny ends with something that makes Nuremberg look like a picnic and will end tyranny here in the United States of corporatism and the world as well.
Tyranny will not end until the last corrupt politician is strangled with the entrails of the last CEO
There is an old Joe Hill of the IWW known as the wobblies song called Mr.Block. the chorus says "oh Mr. Block you were born by mistake, you take the cake, you make me ache, tie a rock on your block and then jump in the lake, kindly do that for liberty sake" very apt though more than 100 years old
