I don’t belong to an organized party, I am a Democrat. Trump was never going to compromise as this would mean he was a loser. The Republicans were never going to vote against Trump. The Democrats had over a month to craft an exit strategy. They did not.
Once Schumer found out that 8 senators were going to fold, he should have gone to the rest of the Democrats and figured out a way to spin this. For example, Schumer should have gathered as many Senators as he could and announced: “It is obvious that Trump and the Republican Party do not care about the American people. Not only are they going to increase medical costs but they are also willing to let people starve. We are not. While we will continue to fight to keep healthcare affordable, we cannot stand by as people lose their jobs and food assistance.” The Democrats then look like they are saving the poor instead of getting rolled by the Republicans.

The conservavictim whiny little bitch corporate communist media is spreading the fear lies that NYC businesses will leave NYC for Texas etc. since they have the same educated employee hiring pool as NYC.
