Treasury Secretary Bessent on Face the Nation Sunday explained why he and Donald Trump know the real reason that Americans think there is an affordability problem. It’s because what the liberal media is telling them. Now think about that for a moment. As healthcare premiums soar, the Middletown, Ohio plumber is upset because he’s watching CNN. Or when the Jacksonville, Florida schoolteacher
cringes at the astronomical increase in home insurance, it’s all because she’s viewing MSNOW. Or when that young Bend, lawyer is upset because the prices of the steaks he loves have risen almost 15 % over the past year, it’s because he’s reading the New York Times. In short, the president and Secretary Besson think the American people are stupid and can be manipulated
by what they watch and read more than their actual experience. Now, to be fair, many of Trump and Bessett’s billionaire friends probably aren’t even aware of the increases in health care or home insurance or meat. It’s just those dumb middle or working class Americans.
I’m so put off by the grammar and punctuation errors in this sample of the article that I’m dissuaded from subscribing.
Trump and his stooges have much reason to believe people ARE gullible fools. Billionaire slave owners conned 300,000 poor unemployed white southerners into dying to protect the rich who took their land and gave their jobs to slaves. Now Trump is doing the same to the MAGA who used to be middle class, and they worship him above God. A history rerun.
