The Education Department, over the past week gutted the Office of Special Education. This is the office responsible for the treatment and rights of 7.5 children, school children, children with disabilities.
This is indecent. Linda McMahon, the Secretary of Education, co-owned a company, The World Wrestling Entertainment, with her ex-husband, Vince, a true deplorable. They delighted in making fun of people with disabilities. Eugene, the mentally challenged fan, or the wrestler with Bell’s palsy. Secretary McMahon may have wisely left the creepy Vince, but she was part of those sickening episodes.
Budget director Russell Vought who oversees all these cuts, has a daughter with cystic fibrosis. The Office of Special Education’s mission is to look out for people with conditions like Cystic Vibrosis. To gut the Office of Special Education is bad policy perpetrated by bad people.
