Donald Trump, bowing to demands, those demands are from his sycophonic staff, MC’d the Kennedy Center Honors last month. The results are in. The television ratings were the worst ever. Only three million viewers watched the Donald and a horrible show. When the celebrated George Stevens ran the respected honors in 2014, the emcee was Stephen Colbert, the one that the Trump friendly CBS fired.
There were nine million viewers then, three times more than the pathetic performance that Trump put on. Trump, who lives by ratings, was furious about that and the outrage over his illegally trying to rename the iconic venue the Trump Kennedy Center. So what did he do? He lashed out at the Kennedys only hours after Caroline Kennedy’s courageous daughter Tatiana had passed away after fighting cancer.
Of course, Trump knew about this timing. He doesn’t possess a scintilla of compassion or decency and really enjoys hurting people. The legacy of the Kennedys and the center will be celebrated years from now by our grandchildren who will learn about those dark, dishonorable days of Trump 2.0.
What do you expect from this mentally challenged narcissist. He instinctively has to diminish others to make himself look better. This convicted felon will eventually will destroy himself. He remains the worst president in the history of this country. Our people deserves better. Happy New Year!
